Faithful+Gould provided cost and commercial management services for the re-build of the Airedale International Air Conditioning Ltd’s new manufacturing facility following extensive fire damage. Initially, Faithful+Gould sourced temporary premises for Airedale to operate from and mobilised the contracts for the fit-out which included specialist M&E works, enabling Airedale to be up and running again little over 3 months after the fire.

Faithful+Gould worked collaboratively with the contractors and supply chain, managing and achieving commercial targets to exceed the brief and demonstrate almost £4million of savings. The new £35million re-build of the HQ and state-of-the-art research and development facility significantly increased production capacity, allowing Airedale to continue to lead the world market in their industry through having the largest R&D facility of its kind in Northern Europe.

This impressive 23,000m2 building’s energy efficiency includes low energy lighting and heat recovery installed throughout, ensuring a low carbon footprint, and was awarded a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ in recognition of it's environmental credentials.
